I was first impressed by the chef who was dressed professionally but the crumbed snapper I ordered was the worst Ive ever had in the past couple of years. The fish was literally rubber and had no moisture in it. I think even the fillet o fish at maccas could do better than this.. One star for the decently furnished restaurant. Garbage food, not sure if the fully packed restaurant was because of the tourists who went to visit the place

Great place. Very popular. We took the server's recommendation and the fish was wonderful (pink snapper) delicious, well cooked, yummy chunky chips (we prefer them they don't go cold like shoestrings do), fresh crunchy salad and seafood dressing on the side. They squeezed us in before another person's booking. The service was great. Food delivered promptly and my raw oysters were fresh and delicious. If you want to go book, because they eating in area is quite small. They do takeaways too.
Travelling all the way from Sydney along the coastline and this was one of the best fish and chips weve had.It was extremely busy when we went inside but the staff were very efficient having one or two come up to people in line taking their orders to avoid any further delays. They were also advising the customers of the wait time which is great communication.Staff were friendly.The Food and portion size was great. Just the right amount.Loved reading the story about how this shop started. Well done guys!
Great central locationMenu variety and reasonable pricesI asked to be placed closer to the open window as the cooking end of the restaurant was very warmWaited some time for my order to be taken (I had a book) and the chefs mother who was also dining gave them the hurry upOrdered seafood chowderIt was delicious. Flavoursome. Chunks of yummy seafood in a creamy broth. Toasted sourdough side.Recommended
